Does anyone have NCM RTCD configure for ASA without using Syslog? Sending ASA syslog to my solarwinds server is killing disk space.

Create a syslog rule from the syslog viewer utility to discard any message that is not required for RTCD. It will kill the disk space only if you choose to store everything that the syslog server is receiving.

I am not setup my ASA syslog pointing to solarwinds ncm. how about using snmp traps, anyone got the configuration on the ASA to work for RTCD? Thanks

I haven't done it, but a trap should work as well. You will have to look at the RTCD rule on the syslog view and use it as a reference for the trap rule. My lab is all expired so I will have to rebuild , or I would try it out.
