I need to start monitoring components on a server on the network, and I was wondering if it is possible to remove some of the components that we are currently monitoring on a different server to free up those licenses.

Yes, you can either disable or delete/remove components from being monitored within a template. Both options will reclaim the license and allow you to allocate it to a different component elsewhere as needed.
