ConfigAutoDownload.exe problems

Hi,

I"m having a problem getting ConfigAutoDownloader to run. I'm using NCM 6.0 on windows 2008 R2 server.

I've gotten to the point of trying to run in from a command prompt as administrator and it will still not download the devices configuration. I'm running it from the directory the application is. I put a space between the executable and the IP address of the device. But it never seems to download the configuration for the device.

If your wondering, I can download the config from the device in the gui with no issues.

Any suggestion on how I can troubleshoot this one?

Ok this is still an open issue. I've had a ticket open for over 2 weeks (case #178876) and had several remote session/support calls but no solution so I'm back here for help.

It appears that the ConfigAutoDownload.exe is starting but timing out. The RTN.log file is reporting "Error: Job timed out while trying to start Syslog Job. Ensure you provided the correct user name and password.".

Now I know the ID/PW for the devices is correct because if I manually do the download it works fine. So I'm thinking maybe it's and ID/PW for the Syslog Job program but I'm not sure what or with who's ID the program is launching with.

Any help would be great.

Did you double check your Windows account credentials found in " File>Settings>Real-Time Change Detection>Config Change Settings" ? ...need admin rights to run the script.
