Download Configs Problem from catalyst 2960

Question

Hi all,

I have problem downloading config from Cisco Catalyst 2960.

When I try to download running or startaup config I receive error:

"Connectivity issues discarding config file. Device IP: x.x.x.x"

Error details:

"Show startup
         ^ 
 % Invalid input detected at '^' marker."

There are no problems if I try to send any other show comad from NCM to those switches  (show version, show logging ......). Print out from those commans are OK.

Can some one help me?

bump! I am having the same issue with my 2600 Sorta seems like it's not going into enable mode. Hi I did it. I did some session-trace when I try to download running config. And I did some comparation between two traces, one where everitung is OK, and one from session to Cisco Catalyst 2960, I noticed that on trace to Cisco 2960 there is no log for entering enable mod. The following part " Logging into Enable Mode <-- enable" is missing. Can you enable session tracing (file > settings > session tracing) and post the results of a download config?  You can find session traces in <install dir>\Configuration Management\Session-Tracing.
