Below is the error i got anyone brief about the issue.
ERROR: Run job error: Transaction (Process ID 200) was deadlocked on lock resources with another process and has been chosen as the deadlock victim. Rerun the transaction.
I noticed this in my logs overnight for maybe 10% of my devices. Any ideas?
This message seems to be generated from the Orion database (MSSQL Server) did you recently do any upgrades/updates on the system? Orion Updates / SQL Migration / SQL Patching / ... as bharris mentioned he also sees the error, maybe you guys can share what you have done before the error came up. Pinging jpetkevich to see if there is a known issue.
I believe there was some SQL maintenance last week for security patches.
bharris you said that your NCM Backup/.../..../Whatever jobs ran not at the same time as your DB Maintenance jobs for NCM, correct?

What exact jobs were you both running? How large is your NCM environment?If we cannot quickly diagnose here, rajasekar I recommend you open a support case.
They are running config backup jobs. We have about 2500 devices in NCM. They are broken up by region and backed up every morning starting at midnight for the first region and staggered 30 mins to an hour on each region after that.
