I'm sure this is a problem that has been well solved by many people, but I haven't been able to google an appropriate solution yet.
Our organization has multiple sites with dual routers and circuits into the MPLS cloud. Circuits are sized such as that a site should be able to function with a single circuit, should they have to. But, we have been caught in the past with outages that result in the remaining circuit pegging at 100%, since the bandwidth needs have changed since the circuit bandwidth was last set. So, we are looking to setup something (likely a page) that will show utilization on a graph, so we can see if our combined utilization is peaking beyond 50%.
So, what I'm looking for is a way to create a page that has a graph for each pair of circuits showing combined utilization (interface on router1 + interface on router2) as a combined percentage of utilization. Abou 2 dozen sites/pairs of routers now, could possibly expand to 60-70+ sites if we use these reports for all of our sites.
Looking mostly for advice on setup the graphs/page so that I can get in/out numbers for the combined utilization for each site, each site on it's own graph. I'm thinking that some sort of data in a custom field for each interface (?) or even on the router itself to help group these together, so that I'm getting site1 (router1+router2) in% and site1 (router1+router2) out% for each site.
