Hello, I am currently having an issue with doing an NCM config backup for a Cisco ASA device in our network.
Error message I get is "Connectivity issues, discarding configuration (or configuration is too short).
During initial login to the ASA, I got the '>' prompt at the command line.
I then type 'en' and was prompted for a password to enter EXEC mode. However, there is no enable password that needs to be entered for this particular device.
Just have to hit the Enter key on the keyboard to get into EXEC mode.
Not sure, but i think this might be what is causing my issue and that i also might have to edit the 'Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance' template that i am using.
However, i don't really know how to go about doing that.
Has anyone come across this issue?
Would anyone have any suggestions on how i should edit the template?
Session-trace and debug results are also attached.
