How do you get a Dell Workstation to report its Health Hardware?

Rcarney,

The Precision Workstations, according to Dell, are not "servers," so the Open Manage Server Administration will not actually install the sensors. However, they do have a Dell OpenManage Client Instrumentation Application available to download for the Precisions (it is under the Systems Management section of support.dell.com for your workstation's downloads, and you have to click show all) that will then install the SNMP portions of OMSA that allow SAM to monitor the hardware health sensors that Dell provides visibility for. The notable exception is Disk Drives in a RAID array on an LSI controller; depending on the disk drive controller (LSI onboard vs. upgraded Perc cards and the like) you might not be able to see hardware health of the disk drives directly.

I am working on getting that functional at this time, but I have not found a solution just yet. I was searching Thwack for a solution, and saw your post.
