APM 4.2 Linux script message and statistic use in Advance Alert

I have a Linux script that issues a Message:  Something Bad Happened and Statistic:9.  

I want to send an email via Advanced Alert and include the message text issued from the script (it's displayed in the component monitor).

What is the sql variable for message and statistic ?  Or do I need a custom variable?  And there could be up to 10 messages and statistics per script in APM 4.2 now.

I cannot find it in the APM manual although I see exactly what I want in the component monitor on the web.

Hello,

I've created user defined function for returning selected message from multi value script component. Then you can use it in the alert definition.

Please run following statement on the SolarWindsOrion database to create user defined function:

CREATE FUNCTION [dbo].[apm_Custom_GetMultiValueCurrentStringData] (      @ComponentID int,      @RowNumber int)RETURNS nvarchar(max)ASBEGIN      DECLARE @result nvarchar(max)      SELECT @result = Temp.StringData FROM      (            SELECT RANK() OVER (ORDER BY DynEvDef.ID) AS Row, DynEvData.StringData            FROM dbo.APM_DynamicEvidence_DetailData AS DynEvData            INNER JOIN dbo.APM_CurrentComponentStatus AS CCS                ON CCS.ComponentStatusID = DynEvData.ComponentStatusID            INNER JOIN dbo.APM_DynamicEvidenceColumnSchema AS DynEvDef                ON DynEvDef.ID = DynEvData.ColumnSchemaID            WHERE DynEvDef.[Type] = 0 AND CCS.ComponentID = @ComponentID      ) Temp      WHERE Temp.Row = @RowNumber      RETURN @resultEND 

 

 

Then you can use following macro in Advanced Alert to get the first message:

${SQL:select dbo.apm_Custom_GetMultiValueCurrentStringData(${ComponentId}, 1)}

The second parameter of the function is the index of message in the multi value script component.
