ApplicationDetails - Unexpected Website Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Everytime we go to the application details page it brings up this error. I've done the configuration wizard on the website and still get this error.

ErrorSite: OrionWeb.OrionView.OnPreInit

ErrorType: System.NullReferenceException

Is this occurring for all applications or just a select few? If the application you're experiencing the issue with is using the default Application Details view you can simply delete this view from [Settings -> Manage Views] then rerun the Configuration Wizard which will rebuilt the view and return it to its default out-of-the-box state.

This happens for all Apps. There is no Application Details view in there, and when I try to create it, it gives me the unique name error.

There was an upgrade a few months ago, but as long as I've been here it hasnt worked.

I would recommend opening a case with support. This is definitely unusual behavior and something that will require a look through your database and diagnostics to resolve.

Edit your user account settings under [Settings -> Manage Accounts]

Theyre all set to default, and there is no Application Details to choose in the drop down

A/ Unique name error would suggest that there is already another view by that name and why it cant replace it when rebuilding the views when running the configuration wizard. So I would suggest opening a case if you have a support contract ?

B/ How about this - creating / using another account - log in using that and then seeing what happens or ask someone with the same level of permissions to do the same and see if it happens to them, that way you can determine if its your profile or not.

Thats the whole stack. After that is the Assemblies.
