Change Machine Type, or assign View to some devices but not all in Machine Type

I have a view I have created for our Liebert A/C unts, but the MachineType on our Liebert/Emerson UPS is the same MachineType. I cannot figure out how to assign my new "Liebert A/C Node Details View" to just the A/C units and not also to the UPS.

Any ideas?

its not elegant but you can asign the view to the individual devices

only problem is that you would have to update the view everytime you added a new device of that type
