failed with 'Undefined' status Invalid processor count

Hello,

I have two snmp process monitors set up that were working perfectly yesterday and now they generate this error:

failed with 'Undefined' status

Invalid processor count

The server is fine I even rebooted and the processes are running, it is a windows machine. Does anyone know what is happening with this?

It seems something has changed on that Windows box.

Maybe someone changed privileges for community string used by Orion?

are you seeing random failures or are those process monitors permanently in 'Undefined' status (since yesterday).

Are you using SNMPv2 or SNMPv3 ?

no random failures, they are permanently Undefined since yesterday.

What I did notice just now is when I do a list resources on the node, the only thing listed are the network adapters. No drives, cpu, etc. But when I view the node details all I can see the drives fine and even graph the data.

Wierd...

I am wondering if I should reinstall snmp on the server?

Yes, I think so. I was wondering if someone virtualized it last night and sure enough I see vmware. I added the right string in and everything is detected now. They had a typo in there.
