Silly question : How does Solarwinds represent bps figures

I'm assuming that when solarwinds asks for the Mb/s figure on a interface speed its referring to the absolute binary value rather than an Si value. For example, I have to convert an ATM cell count figure to the Mbps figure.

We have a circuit with a bandwidth allocation quoted as being 6000 cells so am I correct in multiplying this by 53 to get to Bytes and * 8 to get to bits then / 1048576 = 2.43 Mbps (rounded to 2 decimal places) ?
