Is it possible to run a policy report against a file or only a nodes config??

Hi is it possible to create a policy report and then run it against a file, be it notepad or a word doc? Or is it only possible to run a policy report against a node's (in NCM) config

Hi,

Not directly, but there's a workaround. You must import the configuration (from ma text file) into the Win32 GUI. Then you can run a policy report that includes the node to which you attached the imported config file.
