Windows Server 2012 R2 shows up as Windows 2000 Datacenter Server

Question

I recently upgraded our Patch Manager server from 1.85 to 2.1 and upgraded the wsus from 3.0 to 3.2. both services run on 2008 R2 separate vm's/servers. I have installed the patch KB2938066 which was stated in this post by Lawrence Garvin. After that in my wsus console the server show up properly, but in the patch managers wsus console it still shows up as datacenter. Has anyone seen this issue?

I found that my Patch Manager server did not have one of the WSUS patches for the console. I found this when I tried to publish 3rd party patches. I would get the error telling me that my console and remote server did not have the same version. After applying the patch KB2938066, everything worked fine and my 2012 servers show up as 2012 servers and not windows 2000 datacenter servers now.
