Top 10 Home Page including select nodes

My home page is set up as Top 10. This of course shows the top 10 devices for each category (CPU, memory, response, etc.) but I also would like to include a set of specific nodes on the home page regardless if they're in the top 10 list or not. They should always be displayed. I can create a new view that includes or limits to just those nodes but how can I put them on the home page along with the top 10 list?

You could create a custom property for those specific nodes and then filter off those to display on the summary view. This tutorial has offers a similar example.

Thanks Mark. After going through this and some trial and error I've actually been able to discover other things I can do that allows me to customize my home page precisely. Required playing around with some basic SQL. Regards.
