file existance monitor at a specified polling time.

I think it would be great to be able to set an APM monitor to poll at a given time or on a given schedule. I need to check to see if a file exists only one time during each day. For example, if a file gets created at 8:00 am, I would like to be able to poll at exactly 8:01 am to see if it's there. The file may get purged shortly after that.
