Allow WMI through Windows Server 2003 R2 Firewall

I wanted to reach out to the community to see if anyone else got this working. I need to allow WMI on Windows Server 2003 R2 with the firewall on but don’t want to open all the ports. If anyone got this working please let me know?

This is a job for Portocalypse - WMI Demystified. That handy article will show you how to lock down WMI to just one port, and then allow that through your firewalls. It's not easy, it's not simple, but it can be done.
