I need monitor shared folders space on File servers, i want monitor with Solarwinds. thank you for your support.
Look to the topic Monitor Windows folder size , and go to the last comment:
Template File and Folder Size Monitor Template works for me. There is however one tricky thing. If you using it to monitor size of shared folder in form \\COMPUTERNAME\SHARENAME it does not work because Windows is not considering SHARENAME as real folder 'type File Folder' (try to see properties of SHARENAME and you will notice incorrect folder size as well) but as shared folder 'type Share'. This script does not work for share but for real folder only, so it will work for \\COMPUTERNAME\SHARENAME\FOLDERNAME.If this is your case you might share parent directory and modify UNC path of file size monitor. If this is not your case than I need more info (error message, monitor setting and credential settings) to help you.

Is that what you were looking for?
Have you tried using the following templates?
Hi sreynosa,
Another option is to use a tool called LANGuardian. It can monitor shared folders by analyzing the traffic going to and from the file servers, just setup a SPAN or mirror port. You can then integrate the data collected by LANGuardian with your SolarWinds views. You can see an example of this at the link below. It can also show you who is accessing these files\folders as well as showing file-names, actions and file sizes. No need for auditing or changes on your file servers, everything done using network traffic analysis.
