Help needed for SAM script monitor

Hi All,

I have a task to monitor service guards for Linux flavor.where in we would like to monitor the cluster status, package status etc... Now the team has given a small script which will give a single numeric output...

I tried using Linux/Unix Script monitor available by default in SAM... But gettng an error, below are the details:

I am not good with scripting part so might have made some basic mistakes as well so appreciate if someone can assist me with this...

You need to create the conditional statements around your command.

Merely doing Statistic:

^^^ is why its complaining "no command".

Right. Your script has to have a statistic output in order for any magic to happen.

You'll have to assign a variable to the command, like you see in the process example.

Sorry, I can't code it. I don't speak Perl at all.
