Database server became full and after shrinking it, the NPM wouldn't open. An error message "The Network Performance Monitor database/license is seriously corrupt. Please contact Solarwinds Technical Support for assistance.Suggested fix - Restart the database service or re-run the setup wizard." We tried to restart the database using the Orion Manager but it can't be stopped. We stopped it under the Services of the Microsoft instead. After shutting it down, we restarted the NPM. A minute after seeing the NPM in running mode, it went back to shutdown again. This happened a lot of times. There is an existing case relevant to this in this forum, but according to the possible solution, it should be upgraded. Our version is 8.5.1, and I think we don't need to upgrade because this only occured when our database became full. Any possible solution guys? For an immediate response.
