is empty. Shouldn't this get populated during nightly scheduled inventory ?
Dave
Hey Chris - we've diagnosed this as a problem with the BRIDGE-MIB OID in NCM MIBs.cfg database. It's on the roadmap to get fixed asap.

Hi Dave - yes, it should. This is a known issue and it on the schedule to get fixed. Thanks for the feedback!
My trial of NCM v6 wasn't populating the MACForwarding table. I deployed the licensed version after we purchased it, onto another server running in almost identical configuration, and now my MACForwarding table is being populated... No idea why, but I was pleasantly surprised when I checked the database after the new install and found it populated. Can we have some info on why it doesn't/didn't work please?
Yes, and can we get a patch/fix for this soon ?
I was able to do some user tracking by building ASP page and relationships between the NCM tables.
But then I took the plunge and upgraded NPM and NCM to try 'Solarwinds' user tracking.
Huge disappointment there, plus it broke my ASP page (no data in MACForwarding table).
The irony of it all :P
Hi Dstj - the MACForwarding table shouldn't have any effect on the NPM/NCM user tracking. Did you run a discovery? You'll need to do that to populate the user tracking information.
Is there any fix for that available now?
