How to bulk change credentials for all the application monitoring components

I have hundreds of nodes assigned to a template which has ~30 monitoring components.

Each of these monitoring component is using [inherit credentials from node].

I want to change this to [inherit credentials from template] or to a specific credential.

Is there a way to do this in bulk using SQL/SWQL/Solarwinds feature?

Only other option I have is to manually edit each application and change credentials for all the components of that monitor.

in the database you will find the credential under apm_componentsettings IIRC, it'll have a key like "__credentialid" roughly, and an integer. I want to say that -4 is inherit from template, -3 is inherit from node, and any actual number would map to a credentialid on the credentials table where the credential is listed as APM for the owner.

Hello.

You can go to Settings -> Manage Nodes. There select all the servers where you want to change the credentials and click on "edit properties" to assign a new credential to all of those selected nodes. (I assume that the SAM templates are using the node creds by default).
