Creating views/dashboards for orion user accounts

Question

Hello,

Is there a way to simply copy the default view/dashboard from the admin account of orion and apply it to all other users? Also, I want those users to be able to edit that copied dashboard but not affect all of the other users customized dashboards. Right now, every time someone customizes their dashboard, it applies to all users. I beleive this is possible as I've done something similar when I used orion years ago.

Any help or guidance is appreciated!

Hello. I have some difficulties with understanding access rights.

I can make a dashboard and can map this dashboard as default for any user. But this is not about access control. Anyone, who has dashboard URL, can access this page.

So I have a question: how can I limit access to my own dashboard? There are no access settings when I setup new board

Basically, you need to limit who can customize views, and either a: have custom views that people can't modify for a group, or b: have custom views for each individual. Otherwise you're stuck in "everyone moved things around/hid things/etc" mode.

You can make a copy and give a different name and limit to users who should have rights.

If it's a common view then I guess there is no option. Instead u can give them sepeate view if its not much work.
