How to control the size of the CacheDiffResults table

My CacheDiffResults table is taking up an enormous amount of space and even though I have purged configs this table retains data for almost an entire year.

What is the proper procedure to either clean out or maintain this table? I am currently running 6.1

We are looking at handling this in a future version of NCM.

In the mean time, we recommend to purge the old records using this direct SQL queries below:

declare @mdate datetime

set @mdate='{put date there}’

delete from ConfigArchive where DownloadTime < @mdate

delete from CacheDiffResults where CacheID in

(select CacheID from ComparisonCache where TimeStamp < @mdate)

delete from ComparisonCache where TimeStamp < @mdate

As always with direct SQL, make sure to backup your database before executing this query.
