How can I filter application or templates ?

Hi all,

We have a need for different groups within our IT department to have there own views and monitor different applications etc.

However, when monitoring a node you are automatically monitoring any application/template assigned to that node.

Is it possible to only monitor certain applications on a summary page?

I know you can add the "Applications by Current Status" field in a summary and then use the filtering option but if I want to only display 20 of 50 application then the filter option is useless as this only seems to be limited to inputting 200 characters. Hence would be able to filter 4-5 applications

Is their any other way of doing this?
