NCM Login Issue

I have had Orion up and running for several months but ive recently installed NCM, however it wont let me log on saying incorrect user and password.

I know i sound like a moron but what credentials is it looking for? i cant remember specifying a password for NCM, is it just the Orion Servers login details, the Orion Web browser login details?

Is there anyway i can reset this so i can get it going.

Ok, you'll need to reset your Administrator password in NCM so that you can login to the NCM desktop application. To do this, you'll need to open Database Manager, select the ConfigMgmt database, and run the following query:

update options set OptionValue = 'True' where OptionName = 'FirstTimeLogin'

Then, when you open the NCM client application, you'll be prompted to enter you new password.

Try the credentials you use to login to the NCM desktop client application (e.g. Administrator <your password>). Let me know if this works.

Thats the problem i cant get on that either, im reading the set up guides and they sound completely different from the steps i went through. ive Syn'c to our sql server everything looks ok from that end
