SAM text message missing subject line...

I have a user that gets a notification when X happens. It sends to his phone. The only thing that shows up in the text is the body of the message, it is missing the subject line.

I have tried it with variables in the subject and just text.

The simulation appears correct when I look at it on my end.

Any ideas?

Could it be something to do with your SMS provider? Perhaps it's junking some of the message text before forwarding it on. Try setting up a trial with another SMS provider and see if you have the same result, would be my recommendation. If you do, you can use this as evidence when you speak with your provider

Was curious it was working fine. Of course. Only started a week ago. And only on that one alert.

I would concur that this sounds like an issue with the SMS provider. It may be an illegal character, reserve word, etc. is included in subject line that is being stripped by the SMS provider. I would recommend replacing the subject line text with the word "test" or something equivalent and see if that is then properly passed all the way to the end device.
