AS400 APm template

Grettings all, 

I'm looking to monitor items within our AS400. Has anyone created a template for the AS400?

I'm looking to monitor disks, processors, memory, jobs, job queues and print queues.

If not, I'll look into creating one. Thanks for your help.

Provided you're using net-snmp you should be able to get the disks, processors, and memory along with interfaces, etc. from the Host Resources and Interfaces MIBs by default within NPM. If you can find the jobs and job queues by doing a snmpwalk against one of your AS400s, great, if not, you can use APM's Linux/Unix Script Monitor component to run a script on the AS400 to get the information.  E.g., a monitor that runs 'lpstat <printer_name> | wc -l' to return the depth of the print queue.
