Patch Manager - Workstations are reporting "zero" for "Needed" and "Not Installed" patches.

I am new to Patch Manager, but certainly like the features that it offers. I recently installed the trial version on one of my test servers and have successfully linked my WSUS servers to it.

When I try to review my workstations to see what patches they have installed, need or dont need; there are zero's. This leads me to believe that something is not quite configured correctly?

Does anyone have any insight on this or suggestions for me to check, so that my workstations display the correct data for installed / needed updates?

I think the answer lies in the fact that you have over 5,000 updates with no status. If you're still having this issue (which hopefully you aren't by now), then you need to make sure that your nodes check in with the WSUS server.

You can do this one off by clicking on Check for Updates on a test machine, or set up tasks in Patch Manager to do it. Otherwise if you have your GPO set up for your machines to check in they'll update their status once each client machine has checked in with the WSUS server.
