We have NCM running on a dedicated server. Could we running a host version of NCM that connects to the centralized server and just pulls and pushs information centralized.
I'm interested in doing this as well as we have one NCM server and 8 engineers. Were you able to figure it out?
Did anyone every figure this one out? Just installed the NCM on my Orion deployment and would like to install the client on my Windows 2007 laptop to connect to the central server.
Cheers

Hi penthac,
NCM offers web-based administration (Orion Web Console) that can be used remotely.
The other option is to use remote desktop connection to the NCM server and run the Orion NCM application (referred to as Win32). There is no client that can be installed on your laptop.

Hello Jiri,
Im new to NCM, Im looking for a deployment solution and i think you answered what i was looking for. I just have one question. If my NPM and Orion Core database is not online, Can I user the NCM Client locally on the NCM server in a standalone form with its own database? Will I be able to modify/update configs on NCM managed devices?
Thanks for your help,
Jeremy
Hello Jeremy,
the answer depends on the deployment scenario you choose. Please take a look here where all the possibilities are described. Feel free to ask if you have further questions.
