Creating a Consolidated Event / Alert View

Has anyone created a way to have specified SNMP Traps and/or Syslog Messages show up in the Event Log or to configure them to show up as Active Alerts?

Hi Ralphr,

NPM has apps for configuring syslog and trap alerts.

Go to All Programs -> SolarWinds Orion -> Syslog and Trap Alerts

I have done that...what I want to be able to do is for all my alerts regardless of if they are sourced from Traps, or Syslogs or UnDP or anything else all show up as either Events or under the Active Alerts resource window. My preference would be Events so that we could run historical reports but at this point I would settle for them all showing up as Active Alerts. I know that inherently SW does not currently do this but I was hoping someone out there may have found a way to implement this.
