VoIP stats from Cisco Router

Does anyone have a slick way of getting VoIP stats from a Cisco router? If I poll the T1 interface we do get bandwidth and because the MIBs aren't there polling the Voice interfaces results in no data whatsoever.
I am going to turn on syslog routing for the router and capture events that way (and I'm hoping I'll see call completed and failed messages) but there has got to be a better way of gathering those stats and somehow making them available in Orion.
