Questions about templates

Hello guys,

I'm having some questions about templates.

First of all, when I have a look in the component in the application details, I could see that there's a field called Response time. I would like to know what is it, and why I'm getting the return in blank.

Second, I would like to know is why is so slow between the time that I apply a template to a host and the time to get the data. For example, If I apply a template to a node right now, I will need to wait a long time (more than 10 hours) to get a result from data collected by template. While it doesn't happens, I got the status as unknow and Initial pool in progress. I've tried to hit the Pool Now button, but it seems doesn't have effect. Bellow, I'm posting a screen to make it more clear:

OBS: If I reboot the solarwinds server, after the reboot The component status is working. So, I would like to know how I could fix this problem about status unknow without reboot the server.

Response Time is a measurement of time from the initial request to when the response is received. Not all component monitors support response time measurements. Response time is typically only available for user experience monitors, not script monitors.

As for the tremendous delay in polling, I've only ever seen this issue when a poller is overloaded. However I can't say even that would explain a 10 hour delay. I would check the date, time, and time zone between the Orion server and the SQL. If the poller doesn't look overloaded after looking at [Settings - Polling Engines], and the time on your Orion & SQL server is in sync, I would recommend opening a case with support as this is not normal behavior.

Humm, I didn't know about it. So, probabely it is the problem. However, there's a response time for script monitors ? If yes, how I could change it ?

Script monitors do not return a response time value. The "Response Time" field appears under the "Components" resource (shown below) because this resource is generic to all applications. Those that contain User Experience Monitors, and those that do not.
