SolarWinds As A Tableau Datasource

As a Tableau Server Administrator, I have found that it would be helpful to use the SolarWinds database as a data source in Tableau. I was curious if anyone had any templates out there or guidance on how to get the SQL queries used in Orion.

Tableau has Custom Admin Workbook templates for server performance monitoring, but it requires PerfMon and why use that when I already have the necessary data with SolarWinds?

If you look in the report writer legacy application or the web based report writer you can find some SQL queries you can use as starting points. of course there are a bunch scattered around the forums. Have you compared perfstack to tableau? I used tableau before but I havent looked at it in several years. I think you could do alot of what tableau does with perf stack.

Thanks for the help on finding the SQL for reports. Tableau is the application I need to use because I am trying to monitor our Tableau instance better - right now I have to view some reports in Tableau and compare them side by side to SolarWinds. We're looking to leverage both applications to get better insight. Thank you for the help!!
