Ever since I upgraded to APM 4.2 i've been getting reporting from clients that their applications are reporting down when in fact they are not actually down. Upon futher investigation, in every single case, i'm finding that the problem is that the credentials on the template have been set back to none. I've opened a ticket with support on this already and they've told me that they haven't had any other reports of this and that it's likely somebody is manually changing the credentials setting. Just wanted to put it out there and see if anyone else is experiencing the same issue.
