NCM Syslog not working

I have installed NCM 5.0 on a new machine everything is working fine but NCM SYSLOG is not working.

I am not receiving SYSLOG msgs on NCM syslog, although its service is running.

Where as I am receiving SYSLOG msgs when I use some other SYSLOG software on that machine.

Kindly help me out in this regard.

Is NCMSyslogService.exe binding the UDP Port 514?

you can run the following command and then search the text file:

C:\netstat -abo > C:\netstat_results.txt

If not do you get any error while starting the SolarWinds Orion NCM Syslog Service?

No it is not binding to UDP Port 514.

NCMSyslogservice.exe is not binded on any port, it is not showing after executing this command.

No I am not getting any error while starting NCMSyslogService.

This would explain why it does not collect any Syslog messages.

Is there another service listening on the syslog UDP port?

No. Port 514 is not in use.

I even tried repairing NCMSyslogService, but still issue is there.
