NCM Polling Service

Even though I've disabled device polling within NCM I noticed today the service was still running, is it safe to disable this service?

Just to clarify, the polling service actually performs 2 functions:

1. Node status polling

2. Updates policy report cache (for website reports) each night at midnight

We're working on splitting out #2 into it's own service, but until then, I wouldn't stop this service unless you don't care about viewing Policy Report results from the website.
