My HDD died a few weeks back and I have been unable to activate Engineers Toolset ever since. The error I get is, "activation wizard can not continue because current user does not have enough provileges to activate a license." I've searched this forum and the only answer I've seen is, "Open a ticket." However, we don't have the maintenance contract and they refuse to let me open one.
I have Win XP SP3 and I'm logged on as an admin. I've uninstalled/reinstalled and I've even tried different versions. I get the same error. I'm aware that this could be an issue with my laptop, but there must be a solution out there. Any information is greatly appreciated.
