How does APM Monitor Web application performance?

As an exiting NPM customer, I currently am considering purchasing APM for a web application user experience monitoring and comparing it to HP SiteScope.

 

Reading the user manual and seeing live running copy of APM, I cannot see how to get somthing working.

The objective of what I am trying to do it the following:

1. Bring up landing page (HTTP GET to a Website over HTTP or HTTPS)

2. Login to the webpage application (HTTP GET or POST)

3. Follow a link on that post login webpage

4. Specify values and submit a query (HTTP GET or POST)

5. Pull up a link from that search.

And to measure response time for each and total time?

Hi mvjames,

Thank you for your interest in Orion APM. Unfortunately, the built in HTTP monitors only let you verify that the web site login process is working. Currently there is no ability to conduct synthetic transactions inside the web site.
