NCM Creds

When I open the NCM console on the server and it prompts me for creds, I enter them and can gain access tothe NCM conosle. When I click on any link on the NPM pages that requires NCM creds, I enter the exact same creds and get the following error:

The Orion server cannot access the Orion NCM information service. The exact error was 'Invalid URI: A port was expected because of there is a colon (':') present but the port could not be parsed.'

Can you go to Admin > NCM settings and ensure that you haven't specified a port in the location of the NCM server? It should just be the IP address.

There is definatley a port on there. The NCM and the NPM are running on the same box and the NCM location is setup as xxx.xxx.xxx.200:10443 for that reason I assume. Whoever set this up had to have a way to differentiate between the NPM running on 443 and the NCM running https as well... So, yes there is a port there.

The NCM location that specified there just needs to be an IP address for communication with the NCM Information Service running on the NCM server. That NCM location IP doesn't relate to the ports used for the websites.

Okay, now I have removed the port and receive a different error:

The Orion server cannot access the Orion NCM information service. The exact error was 'A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond xxx.xxx.xxx.200:17777'
