I am having to explain to staff why Solarwinds is taking away features every time we upgrade software. The latest is this.
What happened to the "event summary for this interface" box?
In NPM 9.1 we had a box on our interface view that showed the events for 12 months regarding the interface that you selected. When you clicked on "Interface down" you would get a window that listed all of the interface down alerts for the past 12 months.
In NPM 9.5 you get interface down alerts for every interface of every device in monitoring. This might not be a big deal if you have 10 devices. We have 1200 devices and about 500 interfaces. Sure you can click a few more drop downs to select what you used to get, but who wants to do that?
Solarwinds support told me that this was an ASP resource that was lost when 9.5 changed to APSX resources. Can this resource be added back in?
