APM Monitor for Syslog/SNMP Trap?

Hi, not sure if there's already a template or monitor available for this (not been able to find one).

I know it's already possible to monitor Windows Event Logs in APM but I'd like to be able to do the same for syslog and/or SNMP traps and change a server's status in APM based on the rules I set.

Is this possible?

I'm a little confused by your question since NPM already comes with the Syslog Viewer and Trap Viewer. What exactly are you trying to accomplish?
