I have a mpls tunnel on my mpls router that's showing well over 100% utilization. How can I confirm that solarwinds is reporting the correct utilization? Is there a way to see utilization from the command line on the router?
basically you need to go into the router and issue bandwidth statements on the tunnel interface assigning an appropriate value so the percnetages reflect correctly. For some reason when you create a tunnel it defaults it too a 8kb bandwidth as example. Once you have assigned the bandwidth on the tunnel give it a couple polling cycles and it should pull in the new bandwidth also.
Other way to fix this is to manually assign the bandwidth in orion on the tunnel interface through the web interface.
