Would you be using SolarWinds within AWS or monitoring from another data center? I ask be cause we use SolarWinds to monitor from our DC to AWS using the SolarWinds agent for Windows machines in our AWS cloud. Firewall rules allow snmp/agent communication in.

Solarwinds SAM also will be in Cloud.Yes we are opting for agent based monitoring only.As cloud watch also actively considered just wanted to know the best solution as we have OS,Middleware & DB are in scope.
