NCM and connect now problems

I am using NCM and trying to use the connect now feature in network atlas. Everything I have done, Altas still doesn't make any connections. I have the context fields for vlans in the switches and MAC and ARP are available. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't use ConnectNow as I find that it doesn't always get the links right but there are 2 notes for ConnectNow to work. They are

The ConnectNow tool cannot create indirect connections. For example, if the map objects A and C are connected indirectly through device B, you must manually add device B to the map to create the connections.
Because topological data about your network is only generated during Network Sonar Discovery, ConnectNow can only draw lines between discovered nodes. Nodes that are added manually, as in Web Node Management, cannot be connected using ConnectNow.
