I want to create a view for one sql server.

How can i select the name of sql server??

I want to add sql agent job status and most expensive queries to it.

The first thing to do is create an account which is limited to a single node (assuming you want to see the server details as well as being able to look at the application installed on it). The following steps assume you're logged in as a user with Admin rights.

1. Go to Settings (top right hand corner of the Orion web console).
2. Under the 'User Accounts' section, click on 'Manage Accounts'.
3. In the 'Manage Accounts' page, click 'Add New Account'.
4. Choose the relevant kind of account you need to create (Orion individual account, most likely), then click 'next'.
5. Choose the username and password for the account, and then click 'next'.
6. Select the relevant account attributes and permissions, for help with this watch THIS VIDEO
7. Once all your settings are configured appropriately, click the 'Add Limitation' button under 'Account Limitations', to specify the restrictions placed on this account.
8. As we're only talking about a single application, on a single node, choose the 'Single Network Node' option, then click 'continue'.
9. In the next screen, locate the SQL server in question from the drop down, then click submit.
10. Finally, click 'submit' to save the user.

NB: The video will explain things such as customizing menu bars, specifying views for application types/summaries etc, but to test if leave everything as the defaults and then log in with the new user, you should only see the one server and the applications on it.
