SQL FileGroups Disk Space

I created a SAM alert to look at SQL Data/Log files that are over 80% (send email), and 90% (send email with SMS). But I noticed SQL data files that are part of a file group, don't get calculated correctly. we keep on getting false alerts saying that the MDF file is low on space but that filegroup actually has plenty of space. Image Below... Is there a better way to monitor data files in the same filegroup

Are you using AppInsight for SQL yet in your environment? That would give you much more, *ahem* insight into your databases

As you have SAM, you have access to this already and it's relatively simply to set up.
