Cirrcus Configuration Manager won't download configs

Our cirrus configuration manager won't download any more configs. If I select download configs it goes through the process as it would but it never shows in the list. We use to hold a years worth of configs but due to space issues (when last time it stopped) we cleared some up and now we only have 3 months worth so theres no way it filled back up.

Any ideas?

Unless something else filled the hard drive on that server, but I am assuming you have checked that.

I just looked in Thwack and our bug DB and I can't see anything looking like a known issue.

I also pointed the support guys to this, see if they have an idea.

What version of NCM do you run?

I would check several things.

Database Size and free disk space. That is the first thing I would look at.

Make sure session tracing and other logging is turned off for the time being and clear all of the logs out of the session trace and logging folders in the Configuration Management install directory.

If that does not clear up this issue, please open a support ticket so we can have a closer look.

Thank you both for your help, deleting the session trace files, will that affect our downloaded configs?

The session traces are there for troubleshooting. There is no need for those to be on otherwise. If anything, turning off the session tracing will increase the speed of the download to some degree.

Ahh yes, Okay I deleted those. And we are running version 8.3.0.85. Now I am not the one who set this up, so I am attempting to learn. I found from the admin guide everything is tied to a database. I launched our Database Manager, see our SQL Server location and 2 databases however, I do not believe either of these are tied to the Configuration manager. 1 is for Netflow, 1 says WindsPerfMon seems like our solarwinds monitoring application.

Because I do believe it is a space issue how else do I find the database tied to the configuration manager? Or is it actually thes WindsPerfMon one?
