I just discovered that two similar Cisco ASA's display differently in NPM, and the difference results in one showing VPN tunnel information while the other is completely missing that info.
The two are only configured differently in NPM's Node Settings by one using the Default View and the other using the Summary View:

versus

The two ASA's left-bar options show that the one using the (default) View Type has the upward-curving icon to show VPN tunnels (on the left in the images below). The one with the "Node Details - Summary" View Type is missing that VPN Tunnels icon (on the right side below).

I should be able to adjust the "Node Details - Summary" View Type so it includes the VPN Tunnels icon by going to "All Settings > Manage Views":

At the bottom is an option to "Add Tab", which is what I expect to use to add the VPN Tunnels tab to this view:

When I click Add Tab, I get a blank space at the top of the left column and a window in which to Name the new tab, plus window columns to populate.

I also have the option to select that same icon for VPN tunnels used in the (default) view. OR I could change it:

I'm trying to add the same resources to them that show up when using the (default) node view, but not finding what I expect, and I'm not getting the same info available manually that comes from the (default) view.
The "good" (default) view contains this option when I edit its view:

After clicking the add the Resource button to put something into Column 1, I search for anything VPN, but don't find that same Site-to-Site VPN info to select

Even more challenging is ensuring this Site-to-Site VPN tab doesn't show up if it isn't compatible with the node. I'd love an option to only display that icon like "Node is a Cisco ASA" or "Node has VPN Tunnels", but that's not present:

I feel as if I'm missing some step here, but can't see what it might be.
If you have an idea for me to try to get that VPN Tunnels tab to show everything in the Summary View that is provided in the (default) View, please share it?
Yours,
Rick Schroeder
